Should we arrive more than 2 hours late on the agreed day of your move, without providing at least 12 hours notice then you will be entitled to 50% of the total price to be refunded Guarantee will only be valid if emails confirming and agreeing arrival times have been exchanged and an agreed deposit has been paid prior to arrival. In the event that your job is not our first of the day, we reserve the right to change our arrival time dependent on the speed of completion of previous jobs. This will always be done verbally, followed up by text message, a minimum of 2 hours before arrival was booked.

Recent Removals News in the Southampton Area

We were recently contacted by a home owner on the day of her move! Her removal company, not us I should state, had not supplied a large enough lorry to move her possessions down to her new home in Taunton, and had requested that she find some one else to take the balance!! As we have a number of vans and drivers, we were able to supply an emergency service to save the day, arriving with her in Southampton within 3 hours of the call and delivering to Taunton within 7 hours of the call; perhaps we should rename ourselves International Rescue!!

We also recently moved a client into storage that they had arranged, from a furnished flat in Bishops Waltham. Arriving at the storage facility we realised that everything was not going to fit in the booked unit but with quick liaison with our client and the storage facility we were able to change to a larger unit which housed the clients possessions with ease, keeping the client happy.

Last minute moves seem the order of the day, with shorter and shorter notice being given for the big day. This applies whether you're buying and selling a house, moving into or out of rented accommodation, or doing a council swap.
